
AeroSur is a private S.A. Bolivian airline that operates in Bolivia since August 24, 1992, offering a quality service during its 16 years of work that distinguishes it as the Bolivian flag airline.
AeroSur is a dynamic and enterprising company identified with their country, building a vision of turning Bolivia and mainly Santa Cruz in a distribution air traffic centre in South America with connections to North America and Europe.
During its 16 years in the air, AeroSur has carried over 9 million passengers, making about 156 thousand domestic and international flights. The first flight to Potosí in a Metro 3 aircraft with a capacity for 19 passengers it is now recorded in its memories. Nowadays, the most distant destination is Madrid, and the main aircraft a Boeing 747-300 with 517 seats.

The airline has a 16 aircraft fleet. Among its acquisitions there are a Boeing 747-300 with capacity for 517 passengers and a Boeing 767-200, wide cabin, to carry 200 passengers. Its operational structure is supported by an aircraft maintenance workshop, certified by the General Direction of Civil Bolivian Aviation.
FLAG AIRLINEIn 1998 AeroSur was designated as the Bolivian Flag Airline by the Supreme Decree No. 25257 and named co-executor of bilateral and multilateral international agreements. In July 2002, the airline was certified by the General Direction of Civil Bolivian Aviation as a regular national and international Big Carrier of passenger, cargo and mail.
AeroSur CargoThe cargo service has a modern informatics system and a logistics department to transport valuable cargo, perishable cargo, live animals and human remains to all destinations in Bolivia and international routes. The cargo service also offers transportation to any destination in the world, through agreements with other airlines and ground transportation companies.
AeroSur Cargo has insurance over the commercial value of the shipments to be transported, which is different for domestic cargo service domestic and international transportation.
The airline has a consolidated leadership in the passenger’s transportation in Bolivia, integrating cities as La Paz, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz, Sucre, Tarija, Cobija, Puerto Suárez and Uyuni. To reach smaller towns, the company has trade agreements with other airlines to offer passengers all domestic destinations. The rapid expansion of Aerosur increases its international presence with new routes connecting important cities such as Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Lima, Miami, Madrid, Asunción, Tucumán, Salta and Cusco. Commercial agreements with airlines from other countries, allows the company to offer its passengers, destinations anywhere in the world.
Our fleetAeroSur owns a16 aircrafts fleet. Among the last acquisitions there are two new aircrafts, a Boeing 747-400 for direct flights to Madrid with a capacity for 451 passengers and a Boeing 737-300 with a capacity for 126 passengers to make direct.
